Merge PDF

Combine several PDF files into one, in the order you choose. Free, no sign-up, no watermark, and your files are never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Pick two or more PDF files, or drop them onto the box.
  2. Use the arrows to put them in order. The first file's pages come first.
  3. Press Merge and download. The combined file saves as merged.pdf.

Your files stay on your device

Most PDF sites upload your files to their servers. This one does not. The merge runs inside your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library, so a payslip, an ID or a contract is never sent anywhere.

What is kept

Every page is copied as it is: text, images, fonts and page sizes. Form fields and bookmarks from the original files may not carry over.

Common questions

Is there a size or file limit?

There is no set limit. Very large files (hundreds of MB) depend on your device's memory. On a phone, merge in smaller batches.

My PDF has a password. Why does it fail?

An encrypted PDF cannot be read without its password. Open it, save a copy without the password, and merge that copy.

Can I take pages out or merge only some pages?

Not with this tool yet. It joins whole files.
