How to use it
Type a temperature in Celsius to get Fahrenheit, or in Fahrenheit to get Celsius.
The formula
- °F = °C × 9 ÷ 5 + 32
- °C = (°F − 32) × 5 ÷ 9
Example: 37 °C × 9 ÷ 5 = 66.6, plus 32 = 98.6 °F, normal body temperature.
A quick way in your head: double the Celsius and add 30. 30 °C gives about 90 °F (the exact answer is 86 °F). It is close for everyday weather.
