How to use it
- Type the driver's name. It goes on the sheet and names the Excel file.
- Add a row for each ride: the date, where it went and how many days it took. For Manila, Bulacan and Batangas, also pick the truck. The rate fills in, and the total under the rates adds them up.
- Fill in Approved by.
- Press Download Excel to save the sheet as
<driver> - trucking rates <date>.xlsx, or Print to print it with a signature line. The date printed is today's date.
Press New sheet to start the next driver. The sheet you are working on stays in this browser until you start a new one, so closing the page does not lose it. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
The rates
| Location | Rate |
|---|---|
| Within the first 25 km | ₱550 |
| Tarlac / Pangasinan | ₱650 |
| La Union | ₱1,100 |

Manila, Bulacan and Batangas, by truck:
| Vehicle | Rate |
|---|---|
| Closed van | ₱1,000 |

| Larger than a forward | ₱3,500 |
| Trailer | ₱4,300 |
A ride that takes two days adds a flat ₱505.
The formula
Each ride's rate = the location's rate (or the truck's rate for Manila, Bulacan and Batangas), plus ₱505 when it takes two days. The total is the sum of every ride on the sheet.
For example, a forward truck to Bulacan over two days (₱1,500 + ₱505 = ₱2,005) and a trip to Tarlac in one day (₱650) total ₱2,655.
Common questions
Why do Manila, Bulacan and Batangas go by truck instead of distance?
These areas are priced by the size of the truck the load needs, so a closed van and a trailer going to the same place cost different amounts.
Is the 2-day charge added per day?
No. It is a flat ₱505, added once to a ride that takes two days.
Does the Excel file keep the total up to date?
Yes. The total in the file is a formula over the rates, so it changes if a rate is edited in Excel.
