How to use it
Days between two dates: pick a start and an end date. Tick "Count the end day too" when both days should count, such as a leave from Monday to Friday (5 days, not 4).
Add or take away days: pick a date and a number of days to find a deadline. For example, 90 days from today for a probation period or a warranty.
How it is counted
days = end date − start date
The weekday count skips Saturdays and Sundays. It does not know about public holidays, because those change every year. Take them off by hand.
Example: from 1 January to 31 January is 30 days. With the end day counted, it is 31.
Common questions
How many days are in a year?
365, or 366 in a leap year. A year is a leap year if it divides by 4, except years that divide by 100 and not by 400. 2028 is a leap year. 2100 is not.
Does "within 30 days" include today?
Usually not. The count starts the next day. Contracts and government offices can differ, so check the exact wording.
Why do my weekdays differ from my working days?
Holidays, and any Saturdays you work. This tool counts Monday to Friday only.
